Celebrating the Heritage of the
Slate Valley
The Slate Valley Museum will be closed on Friday, February 3 and Saturday, February 4 due to work being done to sheetrock and paint walls damaged by flooding caused by Hurricane Irene.
Volunteer Training
Join our team at the Slate Valley Museum and become a volunteer! We will have an orientation session on Saturday, Feb. 11th at 11am for new and returning volunteers. SVM is an active museum with many public programs and visitors to the museum. If you would like to greet visitors, work in the giftshop, help scan archives, or lend a hand with special events, please come to the training and learn more about the museum and the history of the Slate Valley!
